Takedown Policy
At PromediExcel Learning (PEL), we are committed to protecting Intellectual Property Rights and maintaining a respectful, legal, and safe environment for all users. Our Takedown Policy outlines the procedures by which individuals or organizations can request the removal of content they believe infringes their legal rights or violates our content standards.
This policy applies to any content hosted on the PEL platform, including but not limited to:
- Video lectures and course materials
- User-submitted assignments or projects
- Community posts and discussion threads
- Instructor-uploaded resources
- Profile images, comments, testimonials, and reviews
Grounds for Takedown Requests
A takedown request may be submitted if the content:
- Infringes upon copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Contains defamatory, abusive, or derogatory statements.
- Violates privacy rights or discloses personal, confidential, or sensitive information.
- Breaches local laws or regulations, including content that promotes violence, hate speech, or illegal activity.
- Contravenes PEL’s User Guidelines and Terms and Conditions.
How to Submit a Takedown Request.
If you believe content on our platform violates your rights or any applicable laws, you can request its removal by sending an email to info@promediexcel.com with the subject line “Takedown Request.” Your request must include the following:
- Your full name and contact information (email address and phone number)
- A clear description of the content you want removed, including the URL or screenshot if applicable
- A detailed explanation of why the content is unlawful or in violation
- Proof of ownership (for intellectual property claims), such as registration details or legal documentation
- A statement, made in good faith, that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder
Incomplete requests may not be entertained and/or processed until all the required details are provided.
Review Process
Once a valid request is received, PEL’s Legal or Compliance Team will review the claim within 7 business days. During this time, we may temporarily remove the content in question while the claim is evaluated. We may also contact the uploader to inform them of the takedown request and give them an opportunity to respond.
If the content is found to be in violation, it will be permanently removed from our platform. If the claim is rejected, we will notify the complainant and reinstate the content (if it was temporarily removed).
Counter-Notification Procedure
If you are the uploader of the content and believe that a takedown request was submitted in error or in bad faith, you may file a counter-notification by contacting info@promediexcel.com.
Please provide:
- Your name and contact details
- Identification of the content and the grounds on which you dispute the takedown
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed in error
- Any relevant legal or ownership documentation supporting your claim
PEL reserves the right to reinstate the content if determined that the counter-notification is valid.
Repeat Infringers
Users who repeatedly violate our takedown policies or upload infringing or harmful content may be subject to account suspension or permanent ban from the platform.
We take all takedown requests seriously and aim to act quickly, fairly, and transparently in resolving content disputes. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
